PM Modi urges people to make India hub of spiritual wellness tourism-ANI
New Delhi [India]February 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi noted that the vigilance of 130 million Indians has become an example to the world in the fight against COVID-19, saying that wisdom, habits and yoga-ayurveda in the household are also a big one Played a role in the fight against the pandemic.
On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission, the Prime Minister urged the people to work to make India a “center of spiritual tourism and wellness tourism”.

The Prime Minister said India played a central role in global vaccination.
“Our vision for wellness is both global and domestic. India has a lot to offer when it comes to health and wellness,” he said.
He urged people to “make India a center of spiritual tourism and wellness tourism” and said “Yoga and Ayurveda can contribute to a healthy planet”.
“Our goal is to present this to the world in a language they understand,” he said.
He noted the growing global interest in yoga and meditation, noted the growing challenge of depression, and expressed the hope that the Cordiality program will help address this issue.
“Sickness-free citizens, spiritually strong citizens will take India to new heights,” he said.
The prime minister said India’s idea of wellness goes beyond curing diseases and that extensive health care work has been carried out. (ANI)
